Alongside managing Writers Ink, Hamza is a writer/director and actor with more than 20 years of professional film, tv and theatre experience. 

Hamza has developed projects with Big Talk Productions, written food, culture, and film journalism for publications like The Guardian and Candid Magazine as well as worked in advertising (including being shortlisted for a “Indie Award” for his campaign Don’t Be Jack). He currently has a podcast called Wanna Watch and performs improv comedy with Avocado every Thursday night in London at the Baron’s Court Theatre.

Currently Hamza has a film in pre-production being produced by Paul Green (former president of Anonymous Content) and Kristian Brodie (producer of Next Goal Wins and the Bafta winning Beast) and is developing a TV project with Akaash Meeda (Man Like Mobeen and The Lazarus Project) as well as several other scripts in development.
